I think these boots a beautiful. I like how simple and classic they are. I feel that they can go with just about anything. However, there was only a size 9.5 left and the other reviews indicated the shoes run big. I wear anywhere from a size 9-10. I got the 9.5 and was disappointed because they were in fact too big. My foot is of an average width and the boot seemed slightly wide but more importantly TOO LONG. I wish I could have exchanged these for a size 9. Also, I have athletic/large calves. These boots just barely fit around my legs while wearing regular jeans tucked in. I was afraid that overtime it might put strain on the zipper. The zipper did seem strong though. My roommates didn't really like the look of the boot and agreed that they did not fit well so overall I was convinced to return them. They are well constructed though.
